Today, Stefan and I loaded the Chevrolet pick-up. We didn’t bring any Africa stuff for North Cape but had to do it all today. I was a bit worried if everything would find space. When we unload the two other bikes in Egypt for Lukas and Ian there will be more space. As it is, it takes a shoe-horn to fit one single detail more. My personal belongings are still to load, but I’ll do that Christmas Eve. Managed to do a few laps on the frozen lake – lovely having 1200cc for that, enough to slide at any speed.

In the evening there was time for the annual Christmas bath. This is a tradition, whether you need it or not. Felt like it was needed though. Sauna and then the tub for 3-4 hours, makes you more than clean.

In the bath tub I started to have doubts about Stefan. He is in the danger zone of becoming Lapp isolation. Can you get that in Africa? I am not sure, but it seems he will be homesick, as he seems to have problems being away from his wife.
