North
Cape- South Cape

|
ITwo
of my customers sat around the campfire, late one evening, along
one of Stalin’s many tank roads and discussed other exotic
venues.
After a long day in the saddle around Murmansk, talk inevitably
turned to other exotic targets. Dakar, says one of them, the
other counters with Cape Town. After a short silence, the first
participant says dreamily, his eyes towards southwest: ”Imagine
having a coffee in Ulan-Bator!”
|
I
myself had only a vague idea of where it was, but felt there
was something magic about the place. When the long Polar night
gets at you, you turn creative and immerse yourself in maps.
The rest is history.
Over a series of strange coincidences I have now managed to
create a platform for ordering a coffee in Ulan-Bator.
The working title for the trip is Fjällbonäs-FarAwayistan.
