Yesterday I found an oil leak in the rear end drive. This had to be solved, but the only way to do it on a Sunday was to phone a friend in Mölle. He has a fairly new HP2 and we simply switched the housings. THANKS!

We also picked up our passports that had been sen to the Copenhagen airport. It takes time to arrange visas to those far-away countries. Fabienne once again came to our rescue, a woman I am admiring deeply..

The evening ended in a rain storm and I lost the spring in my drive and had to give up all plans of reaching Dresden that night. A priest I know, a hunting comrade, really, once swore on the Bible to give up smoking. When I picked him up the next morning for hunting I found him smoking wildly underneath the kitchen ventilator. When I cornered him, he answered that he was man enough to change his mind.

I changed my mind at Zarrentin when the odometer noted 598kms instead of the planned 950kms. One reason was that I had one litre of water in each boot.
